Martin's setup is so minimal that he even opts not use a midi controller to play notes into FL Studio. Had to follow the mv command that other people did. Playing the game so far no major issues. What did not: I did not get the prompt in the beginning 'would you like to play classic or definitive' We are now playing the definitive edition. Only Core 0,2,4,6 enabled:FPS doesn't seem to change at all, though with 15-20% less CPU usage I'd definitely think it should have (and let's be real this isn't a professional benchmark and I even fucked up the view-angles) so I would think 4C4T is most certainly already too little for that game.
Depending on how many background programs need CPU time I can see why there are FPS drops on your rig since DOS2 pretty much eats up four cores completely in that area.But dropping to 35fps seems a bit too much. Welp, very curious how the Ryzen deals with that area!. So here I am 0:30 am in my country.ryzen r5 1600 on 3,7 Ghz with 3200 Mhz RAM.Results are absolutely astonishing. Not only I have been able to play dying light on max settings on locked 75 fps(even in incredibly demaning city in dlc), but I have been able to play divinity original sin 2 with 60 fps lock. Whats even better is the fact that I have insane headroom on both cpu and gpu side.I think that i just hit jackpot man:)Anyway thanks for testing.I will definitely post some text post when I will have more testing done.
Hi,Open up your NVIDIA Control Panel, navigate to 3D Settings-Manage 3D Settings.Select the 'Global setttings' options, and under Preferred Graphics Processor select the High performance NVIDIA processor option.This will force your laptop to use the dedicated GPU.If that doesn't work, you can try right-clicking on the games EXE and selecting 'Run with High performance NVIDIA processor.' If that doesn't work, download the latest drivers off nVidia's website.^Do a complete removal of your drivers, then reinstall.^.that. doesn't work. Hit it with a hammer. Not really. I tried your first suggestion, it didnt work so well, but i noticed the problem. The lag and stuck happen when its rendering/processing a lot of texture. When I wait at the screen to load for a long time, the lag reduced because its already rendered/processed the texture. Same goes if I went this specific path, next time I cross it, the lag will gone because the texture has been memorised.

I'm your ancient fan. Almost so ancient as my wife's laptop acer aspire 5560.
It has ancient videocard with dead hybrid system APU&GPU (no support from kind producer), that's why we can't update video dirvers and windows will be forever 7. Popular advise - update the machine - we can't use now, thanks. Main problem is not a slideshow (it is annoying but we can overcome it), main problem is often crushes when she is connecting to me, or after load of savegame.I have two questions:1) could we expect for some fix in game? Support of such old systems is not in priority, I know, but maybe.2) is there any hidden options for manual optimization by editing some.ini files? Didn't find it over internet and by myself.
